my parents project:part 2...

Here is an update on my parents remodel.  I didn't get any pictures of the roof off-- sorry, I was on vacation & they didn't want to wait till I got back.  So now the "putting back together" part has started.  They completely gutted the entire main floor to one huge room before they took the roof off.  Now they have framed out the rooms & done the electrical & plumbing.  They should start sheet rocking next week.  I'll update in a little while.  It's getting EXCITING!

{new addition: the window on the left is new space}

{new roof lines: the window above garage is new}

{ the archway on the right is the new enclosed porch}

{avi on the new porch}

{this is the entry hall... wall on the right is stairs to the basement}

{the view through the dining room}

{standing in the kitchen looking toward the dining room}

{my parents soon to be new bathroom}

Looks like everything is going well for you. I can't believe your kids are so big. I wouldn't worry about your Avi's weight too much. My Avie's been in the 50% for height and below th 5% for weight for the past 2 years. I know she eats like a horse though. I guess it's always good to be cautious though. Anyway, hope life is as good as it looks. I know you work really hard to do your best at everything, so I'm sure it's great. We'll be there in a couple weeks for the reunion, so hopefully we'll see you then.

I just saw that you left a comment on our blog (which is great) and I looked to see who you were (Brandon said you guys went to high school together) and I have to say that I love your pictures. (The colors in your pictures are so clear and distinct) What kind of camera do you have? -Jana Okey

That's really exciting. I bet they feel like there is so much work to be done but it will be so great when it's finished. I love Avi's shoes. ADORABLE! and her hair is so stinkin' cute. love it!
