Hooray for Brookie!

my amazingly talented friend brooke made a template for a really great job chart a little while ago.  i downloaded it as soon as she made it, but i have never gotten around to finishing it... until this last weekend.  Becks was so excited to have a job chart!  with fun, simple jobs he could do all by himself.  we decided to do a ticket system- so each week he fills his WHOLE chart, he gets a ticket.  then when he earns 4 tickets (since he's 4) we get to go to the store & pick a little prize.  this morning before he left to school, he went over to the fridge to see what he needed to do before he left.  needless to say, he thinks it is the greatest idea i've ever had- thanks Brooke for making me look sooooo good!  to get a template to make your own job chart visit Brooke's blog post here & download yours... it's FREE!  Thanks again Brooke for being so creative & generous!

Isn't it great how kids just love doing chores...let's just hope that lasts for many years!

okay. i love this and have been wanting to do a chore chart forever...my only problem...i'm fairly digitally scrapbook illiterate.

So I downloaded the template and have spent all my freetime today trying to figure it out in PS Elements. I'm having a problem. So if there is an easy answer to this question will you let me know. If it is too complex, just tell me to give up and make it by hand :)

I got my background paper on and merged down then I went to do my border and it wouldn't go to my target layer. it would just create a new layer. any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? If so, will you email me? lindseykearl@gmail.com

thanks and thanks to brooke for this cute idea.

that's awesome. I need to create that very list. Perfect. I need to add "not whining" to the list. I saw your cute dad at the gym a few weeks ago. What a friendly, nice man he is. Your sis heather also came to one of my zumba classes a couple weeks ago. she looks great. you are so creative.
