WAY too quiet...

yesterday i was cleaning up a little bit & i couldn't hear the kids.  i called for them a couple of times & figured they were just upstairs & couldn't hear me.  after calling a couple more times with no response i knew sOmEtHiNg WaS uP!!!!  when i went into beckham's room, this is what i found--

{good thing it was washable}

{the 3rd culprit}

{still so dang cute}

{that sneaky grin says it all}

after i got done taking the pictures, i took becks into the bathroom to wash him off.  when he saw himself in the mirror he was a little upset.  when i asked him what he was doing he said, "i was just coloring myself to be an angel."  to which i responded- "what kind of angel?" he looked at me with the most DUH! face & says "a GREEN one!"  even at times like this, he can always find a way to make me laugh!

That is so funny. I love the moments when you suddenly realize it has been too quiet for awhile and then brace yourself to see what they've done. They are so cute. Also, THANK YOU!!!!! so much for the cute header. You did that so fast for me. You are the best. I owe you.

how funny. It's so funny that kids can't be quite and good at the same time. There is always something no good happening when it's silent. I didn't know Kerilig Hurtado was in your ward. She's my cousin. What a small world. She's my mom's sister's daughter. Did you already know this and I'm just behind the times? Sad about the hatching eggs, I would have loved to have seen that. What a cool thing. Happy late birthday to you. I may have said that in an earlier post but I'll say it again just in case.

I love the blogging thing because it encourages us to take pictures and write down moments like these to look back at and laugh. Your pictures are cute, your kids are cute, and I love your little man's response to "what kind of angel?". SO FUNNY!
