you know you're not from Utah when...

you refer to a LDS stake center as a Steakhouse:)  yesterday we got an order for a funeral from a shop in Colorado.  on the address it read "oak hills Steakhouse".  i can only imagine what they thought we Mormons were doing holding a funeral service at a Steakhouse.  i got a good chuckle!

lucky lunch..

last week we were out running errands & stopped to grab some lunch.  while we were there we noticed a cute new couple that just moved into our neighborhood... which the husband just happens to be a fireman.   they were eating with about 10 other firemen & becks couldn't have been more excited!!!  after we all finished our lunch they took us out back to see the fire truck.  they were so sweet & showed him every little thing.  even their fridge:)  avi was a little more shy, every time they asked her if she wanted to see, she looked up at them & quietly said-"no tank you."  after it was all said & done they gave both the kids a fireman badge.  thanks guys!!!

imperfect perfection...

this little crooked smile is my favorite face she makes!  i love how it isn't perfect, but yet it is just about the cutest thing a mother could ever see.  just looking at this face brightens my day!  love you Avi bug!

digital scrapping 101...

i will be teaching another beginning scrapbooking class in March.

  

we will be teaching scrapbooking techniques using photoshop & photoshop elements.

the class is 4 weeks long.  classes run March 10rd-31th.  Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm (realistically we will go till 8:30)

classes are held in Provo.  the cost of the class is $60.00.  

the curriculum depends on the overall skill level of the class, determined by a questionnaire sent out before the class begins.  you can email me or leave a comment with any questions you might have.

**also if anyone is interested in an advanced scrapping class let me know.

things to love...

i got my new camera.  & yes i am in love!  here is the first picture i took of avi.  she was so happy- she got an ice cream, went to Costco & got a smiley face, & got to wear her new fabulous beanie from her grammy.  all around it was a great day... & it's only 2 pm.
